Items include; medals, service books, MKII spectacles in case, various pin badges, albums containing family history documents and civilian life and service photographs including Christmas Island original photographs, travelling case, Johnnie Johnson signed Christmas card and copy flying log book, newspaper cuttings relating to and printed items related to Nuclear testing and Operation Grapple with printed court/case documents. Alan Ilett was a veteran exposed to nuclear testing during the 1950's at Easter Island and had fought for compensation for all service personnel affected.
